WHEN TEKLA'S UNIVERSE MEET THE SERENGETI CAPSULE

Serengeti launched its first-ever Limited Edition this year. To highlight this launch, we needed a personality that would fully match the spirit of this capsule. That's why we chose to collaborate with Tekla, a colorist and interior architect, for whom colors and light are the center of everything.

How would you describe your work in 3 words?

My work is colourful, graphic with a surrealistic realism sense to it.

What is the importance of space and color in your daily work?

As an interior designer and colorist, these two elements really do mean everything. Since color, by definition, "is" light, and light is energy and energy is life... For me, everything is linked!

No matter what type of project or role I play, color (and therefore light) is always the main element, the subject and the heart of everything I do.

I am simply fascinated by color, which I believe is our most powerful and immediate communication tool. It is so strong and yet so volatile, never absolute, always relative. It's what you put next to a color that defines it.

What has been your main inspiration to create these visuals?

For me it's an ode to the blooming of spring, which represents a bubbling season, to the colors and shape of the frames themselves. But also, to the contemporary art of glass and timeless elegance.

How do you Chase the Light in your daily life ?

I think it’s all about keep open to daily and unexpected “magical moments” appearing just in front of us all the time...

Like I always say : my inspiration can come from fine art just as well as the light hitting a corner on a random backstreet .

What are your top 3 Serengeti models ?

The Nicholson - I love the vintage vibe

The Joan - I love the classic feminine touch

The Raffaele - everyday extraordinary- especially in yellow
